school's out for summer

Well, the normal school year is out, now Sam and I can hang out from 1 to bedtime each day, while leaving the house at 7:15. Sam has had a rough week, momma decided he could no longer nurse at night, so his belly has been adjusting. he has woken up each night, but by the end of the week he figured out that nursing was not an option, but wanted his diaper changed and some tylenol for his teething pain. He has 3 or 4 new teeth on the bottom left, and now an eye tooth on the top right, and more upward movement with the molars and lots of bulges everywhere.

he is an avid ball enthusiast still, and played basketball with dada at yorras yesterday, after a swim, and petting the draft horses that are logging around here.

sam loves to watch wilder swim and is very good at petting him, throwing the ball for him and ordering him to sit, stay and woof woof.

he knows what cows, kitties, ducks, chickens and sometimes pigs say, we are hoping to videotape and send that out today/tomorrow.

he finally got mike's flips on his feet and took some steps this morning.

he still falls asleep on us, a cherished time. we wait until he is deep asleep then make the transfer.

oh yeah, he went to boulder beach with mama, hannah and ava on thursday, he loved it, especially digging with rakes and sand shovels. he stole some balls and noodles from other kids, but they didn't seem to mind. i think we will have to get him a noodle.

ru and sally visited on saturday, mike was bikin' so we went for a walk and enjoyed the beautiful "paradise" like conditions. it was great to see ru and sally, sam is psyched they moved closer and we will see them much more often. we are planning a visit to boston to see them and grace with bill later on...

ru and sally gave sam a dragon i named annie, he is still warming up to it, but it is like 6 feet long and very cool- thanks guys.

the countdown has begun until autie m and christian show up- is auntie heather and the boys coming up as well?

well, it is father's day so we need to figure out how to celebrate poppa- sam is snoozin' for a wee bit more,
