What an amazing weekend at home!

70 degrees, out on the deck, gardening, naked boy, outside shower, bike around the block with the baby trailer and uncle aaron, amazing.

We are settled back in, though Sam enjoyed traveling so much we will have to do it again this summer, maybe a little closer though, Temagami or something. We are psyched to go swim in the pond soon, with the ducks that have returned and will surely start a family soon.

Mark Yorra turns 60 this week, so joins the big birthdays, 30 for mom and da, and the big 1 coming up for sam...

We will keep you posted, don't you think he is a natural skier already?

Snow to sun april break

We spent 3 days traveling for 2 spectacular days in crested butte for mike and michelle's birthday Wednesday. We were psyched to stay with the cousins and auntie heather and uncle matt for a night monday. Sam had a rockin' time in the airport where he was chided for his cheeks and fat legs, for being a pretty boy and for walking with a waddle.

sam was given a balloon at the birthday dinner, and he still loves them. you can see for yourself. we are preparing for a mackin' relaxin' weekend at home in the 60 degree spring weather. more photos to follow....

Lot's of pics

Sam is growing in both body (length and belly) and mind.

As you will see, he is super happy guy, even when he is falling as he learns to walk, run and eat apples at the same time. He is in his high chair eating shepard's pie for the first time, on a plate... He is eating an apple naked, near the wooden toy chest. he is high on his dad's shoulders (wearing a diaper) checkin' out the view.
he had his first easter egg hunt at grandmanana's last sunday, joan and the kids set out eggs filled with goldfish, he dug the fish and loves the eggs. he wished great grandma a happy 87th birthday that day as well.
we think he is about to teethe again as the drool is starting up again. he was using his xylophone stick to massage his gums earlier.
he had his first fashion shoot at zutano yesterday with dad, they seemed to think it went well and they want him back again...
he is saying bye sort of and waving goodbye now, we need to get a picture of it. He will be on skis soon and we will certainly photograph and video that one, at 11 months old...

one month until the big one, we are planning and preparing for the full toddlerdom...
