I know it's been awhile since we last published on the blog, sorry for the delay.
Everyone is doing really well, enjoying the last bits of summer while we still can. Tam heads back to work next week. No one is thrilled about that except her employer. We're doing the childcare thing this week in small doses to get everyone warmed up to the routine. I plan on taking mondays off to hang with the little man. Just a couple of dudes, doing dude things.
Sam is making more and more noises, finding his voice, grabbing Tam's boob with both hands and massaging, graduated into big boy diapers, started sleeping in his crib last night, was entertained by circus smirkus saturday night, sings while you walk in the woods with him, has ridden in his bike trailer (we modified the trailer to fit his car seat), saw bread and puppet, gone nipple deep in the pond, gone jogging numerous times, rubs his feet together furiously, and the most cute of all... when he is turned in on your chest he has been hugging back.
We've had a fun month kicking it family style in the hills of Vermont. The black berries are in, a sign we're in the twilight of summer, plus I got my first ski magazine of the season. Looking forward to fall and snow... Speaking of fall, Sam watched his dad doing firewood for the first time. Corn and Zucchini are in abundance, you know a good vermonter never gives away zucchini, blueberries/raspberries are just about done. We've had a great berry year with all the rain.
We'll keep you posted sooner rather than later folks, love to all.
ps, we are not being permitted to send photos with this one, don't know why, will send soon.
