strawberries were yummy

Sam went strawberry picking with his friend samantha, and her dad carried them up the hill- thanks Chris. some other pics are from visiting the babies and the ride in the car over to Ryegate with Ahna, always a fun time.

we are heading to see aunt grace with grandpa bill this weekend-maybe ru and sally in the city as well- more pics to follow as we are headed to the beach on this sunny weekend...

dinner with sarah and jonah

saturday the 7th we went to sarah and jonah's to help paint the baby room a nice, warm blue. i painted with jonah, sarah cooked and mike went to move his trailer and talk to snapp and val.

sarah cooked up some ribs, cucumber salad, beets and carrots and sticky rice... yummy- we love their cooking...

sam loved their "dream" chair, he was dragging it around and sat on it for dinner...


sarah is a glowing beautiful soon to be mama and we are super psyched for them. she is due the end of august.

july 4thish

Well, the first fourth of sam's memory has been had- we joined lots of friends and family for the festivities in montpelier- parade and fireworks. we were too busy to take pictures so i added one naked gardening picture, because of its relevance these days for sam, a kiss pic and some inside playing pics. sam is smooching away now, especially his girlfriend samantha, and mama and dada.

joining us for the fourth in montpelier were caitrin and ahna, hannah, ava and chris, nick, jane, katie, otto and marge trautz.... a very fun time- mike and sam were both openmouthed in awe enjoying the fireworks.

sam is leading us around the house by our fingers, showing us things, leading us to the door. he also likes to lead bella, who we were dogsitting, around by the leash and talk to her in a very authoritative voice and tell her to sit, stay, and down.

sam is a bit rough with my face these days- i have to be quick and constantly remind him to be gentle as he hits and throws food and other things in my face direction....

but a super talker still, and he is very sweet and cuddly, maybe even more so since the weening- he slept in until 9:15 the morning after the fireworks. that was a beautiful morning.

sam has a new cousin- susanna sibley, joining erin and ethan, a beautiful girl, he can't wait until she is big enough to play with...
